i agree.
removing battle fatigue from the game will remove 33% of entertainer's usefulness to other players.
right now, here are the 3 main useful things Entertainers bring to the table:
1 - Inspiration Buffs (they are helping me out emmensely on my quest to master Imperial Pilot)
2 - Heal Battle Fatigue
3 - Entertain us (whether it's just to take a break from killing, or entertainment during player events)
Them "Man, what the frell hit you???"
Me "Droids, droid fighters, dozens of them..."
Them "Sounds rough... where were you fighting droids?"
Me "Space, over Endor. Had to bail a few times..."
Them "Wow.. you're a pilot?"
Me "Nah, am a Ranger, I just fly for fun.."
Them "A Ranger? Don't see many of them these days..."
So, bye bye BF, eh. Scratch that idea from the camps proposal too.
Excuse me, I have to go comfort some entertainers..

Hey Nemo...tell me Owen's nickname and I will tell you Paks' secret word...
I am in trouble now!
I'd be scard if I thought you could actually remember!
Shim, I don't know you, but I love you already!
Wasn't the goal back when SWG was published, that all professions should depend on another? Wasn't this one of the things that brought us single character servers?
If there weren't so many players with more than one account i bet we would get 4 slot on each server after they realise that without being dependent on other players there is no more need for single character servers
Only the minority of players will visit a cantina if there is no benefit for them. I hope these players will be enough to keep the entertainers alive.
But maybe it's a wise move. Only true entertainers will stay entertainer and so we get in game theatrical plays, maybe even Shakespear
I better stop now before I start writing even more stupid things.....

I fell like the sky is falling, but we should stop this. The sky will not fall. But I fear that there will be a big part missing, people are lasy, even if they would socialise if they were forced, they wouldn't if they are not forced. The most people would just say:" Nice no more have to go away from my ego/grinding/getr00xxor/whatever trip".

I like the prop idea. But I think getting rid of BF is a bad idea. Maybe just speed up the healing time. I agree that professions need each other. The cantina can be, and mostly is, a fun experience and many new players will miss out on that experience if they don't have a reasoon to go there. But the props do sound cool.

Lucky guess!

Yeah, well given that someone decided to post Owen's nickname on this forum some time ago, it's surprising more people don't know it (although that is not how I found it out

But shouldn't the props be Tailor/Artisan made? For me that would make much more sense.
One day nemo, i will get you drunk and you will tell me your contact and then BAM! No more leaks.
Oh and on the removal of BF. I dont like it either. The 'requirement' to come back to town and cantinas should always be there and it doesnt force you to socialise, just rest a little before going back out. Good cantinas are always a pleasent place to preach the anti-hawtpant word and i fear even with these new sparkly bits added the entertainers will still not get people coming to see then and this apparent fix will only worsen the entertainer situation.
