Still just a novice Ranger, but I finally got up to a good CL (22) and was able to buy a nice carbine... I then had fun on Dantoine taking out creatures about 10-15 levels above me... thanks to those little things we have that work wonderfully.
God I love being a Ranger.

Congrats ... the only word of caution I'll throw out is that you PROBABLY don't want to get into a habit of relying on feeding the local fauna pop-tarts to let you solo creatures significantly above your level. It's fun when it works sure, but after a while it's not challenging, which can lead you to complacency in your hunting methods, which is a sure-fire way to get you (and anyone you're hunting with) to the nearest cloner REAL fast. 
Don't forget, it IS a bug, and has been bugged many times since TC-EP3 even... so enjoy it while it lasts, but I doubt it's gonna last too long as we suddenly seem to have garnered quite a bit of attention for it in our quiet part of the woods over here...

I've decided to make the best of it and have set up a HTFB-Circus at the Krayt Graveyard where I throw Pop-Tarts at humanoid-eating dragons. Nice tips I tell you
