How I wish I could log-on at work

Tracking

Can you track a player's pets? Creature or Faction? If so, what category? I was under the impression we would be unable to track pets after the update.

I noticed that the Shuttle is still listing under "People."

Rescue

Does it work against faction-aligned npcs? Does it work during duels? Can you rescue someone from a pet?

I saw the thread about the Bounty Hunter mark... very odd.

Thanks for the info guys. I plan on testing a few out when I get home, too.

I wasn't able to play very long last night, but here is what I found on Dant.

Tracking:

Numerous pets were out, base was crowded. Used areatrack for animals and people, no pets showed up. As a rebel, its hard for me to test for at-sts specifically. Has anyone else not been able to pull up pets?

Rescue:

Tried to /rescue a friend during a pretty heavy skirmish, but saw no result. Does rescue have a range? I also suspect that the DOT on the npc hit right after I hit rescue.

I'm very interested in hammering out more about rescue, would be nice if the "ranger-only" skill seemed useful.
