Thread: Camo kits should work on PCs

I am sure this has been brought up before, if so I apologize.

I know that camo kits are supposed to work on NPCs and creatures, but not on PCs ( I am assuming this is correct, as I have just started my quest as a ranger). I think camo kits should work on PCs also. Rangers are one with nature and could sneak up to a Rancor and extract a butt hair without it knowing (paints a nice picture doesn't it). Why not be able to sneak up on PCs. No offense to the other professions, but they go running through the forest with their big guns (commandos and BH), huge pets (CH) and whatever else.

The logistics would have to be worked out, as scouts andther rangerswould have a better chance of detecting us than other classes. But what a rush to sneak up on your enemy, or wait till he runs right by you, pop up and incap him before he is able to turn around. And in my case being a CH also, wait till you pass me, call out my Mt Squill, and let him have supper....hahaha!

Sound good, or do I deserve the flame!

This idea has been suggested an untold number of times.

The issue is that the developers have stated that they don't intend to implement complete invisibility in any form.

We do however have a request for /conceal to work against Players if you remain still and are unable to attack.

How about if it takes away our name display. This at a distance would make it hard to see and if we used terain and other mobs to our advantage in any situation it would make it harder to find us in the right colored clothes.

Yeah, if our overhead names were supressed and we didn't show up on radar, that'd be enough. I can't imagine it really affecting play anyway. If someone has flora turned way down or off, they'll see us right away if there's enough light.

It would be fun to have those little effects though.
