Im climbing my way up the scouting tree and headed to ranger, and im wondering what goes good with ranger? Do i need to pick up a Marksmen skill or brawler? Just curious what you rangers have picked. Thanks in advance.

CH goes well with anything really. I prefer to have a weapon in my hands that I can use effectively. I'm thinking either carbine or rifle. Now just need to decide if I really want to surrender Master Commando and all it entails.

What goes good with Rangers? A nice bottle of Port wine and a box of Padron Aniversario 1964 cigars.

I think BH/Ranger is a pretty good combination.

A large fries and a DR Pepper.

But if you become a melee Ranger, also pick up medic, or have a close friend who is a medic. I swear that my melee ranger (fencer) buddy spends more time napping (incap) than he does fighting. Do not get me wrong, he is awesome with that pointy metal stick...however, discretion being the better part of valor, I prefer weapons that let me stand off a ways, like pistols. Rifles are good, cept at close range... carbines IMHO suck period, a DH17 pistol is better than a DH17 carbine... and yes, I was a Master Marksman at one time, been there, done that, lost the skill pts to become a pistoleer.

I've got Novice Commando and Novice Pistoleer. Now I'm working towards Ranger.

I figure Commando to hit them , Pistoleer in close, and Ranger to tag and bag. (I've noticed and heard many people discussour, commando, 2.5 mod but switch to pistol in close and it's all good.)

Being able to track wouldn't hurt either.

found that carbineer and medic go very well with it. but carbineer is currently a bit broken(not as much as they all whine about) but does have some problems- carbine is a crowd control and decent damage output type weapon
