Thread: Lok Domesticated Meat....
I see that they have taken out the flora requirements for all camo kits...but they left the lok domesticated meat as a requirement for the lok camo kit. Does anyone know if it is now available, post patch, or if still is missing?

What I find sostrange is how casually Alila states three domesticated meat creatures in his post.

Domesticated Meat is the rarest of the meats....
- I presume the developers chose it for a little diversity in the camo kit requirements.
I have requested that they change the meat to something a little more common, and GreenMarine has responded with a favorable attitude.
- However, the priority for the change is probably pretty low compared to other issues.

How do you find it strange? Did you read the footnote I wrote about acquiring meats from creatures such as the lok ones? It's hard, since the creatures are spawned not in their own camps but as part of camps of other creatures.
The example, lok, spawn enough Nym bases (not the mission ones, the ones that are dynamically spawned in the terrain) and you'll run across one eventually that has a domesticated gurk with them. Kill that gurk, and you get Lok Domesticated Meat. It's NOT easy to find, but it's there.
Ok. I've seen the domesticated gurks in Nym camps on Lok. And domesticated gurnasets etc.
However, when I examine them, it tells me these creatures have herbivore meat.
Now I haven't actually killed one and harvested it. Is it actually domesticated meat if you harvest?
Even if it is, taking a Nym faction hit to get a camo kit seems wrong to me.
hmm.. this must be something that's changed recently then, i admit it was a while back when i was doing lok for missions, like a few weeks back, but i got domesticated meat then im sure.. i think

If they had the time to remove the last Dant flora requirement then it's not asking much to change the Lok requirement to Wild, or whatever. It's really an inexcusable lapse since this sort of fix only comes up once a month and then they change their priorities again.

I've killed many Lok domesticated gurks over the course of time. They have never given me Lokian domesstic meat. It is not something that changed recently. As far as I can tell, Lokian domestic meat has never existed on my server.
On most planets, dealing with aggro NPCs is not a problem since there aren't that many nor are they near the outposts. On Lok it is a problem and I really can't see any excuse for the devs to continually ignore this problem after being told about time and time again (and acknowledging it from what Nras said).
It's 3:30PM PST Oct 10: I just tracked down a nice Nym camp with a Nym's Domesticated Gurk (and a kusak, and unluckily for me a droidka.) I finally killed the gurk. No domesticated meat--it's herbivore, just as it says when I examine it. I'm on Eclipse (maybe it's different on other servers, but I doubt it.) I too have NEVER encountered Lokian Domesticated Meat.
Just posting to save some people the multiple incaps, one slaying, and 20 minutes of time.
Never got Domesticated meat from Lok. If you kill a creature with the domesticated title, you get herbivore. Plain and simple.
It is not directly a Nym faction hit, but are gaurded by NPCs that will attack you and is a defacto Nym hit. I was lucky once in a GREAT while to pull enough to not have to kill the NPCs but that is neigh impossible to do in any quantity. They seem to be the rarest of spwans on Lok as well, so I just don't bother.
To date I have harvested 12 units. Ever.
Of' course I check this forum...what kinda ranger would I be if I didn't?
