Good Morning,

As someone who likes to hunt I rely extensively on Area Track. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to pick everything up.

I will do a scan and the list of creatures will appear. Sometimes I get no creatures at all. Ok so i then move to scan in a new spot. The only problem is that I move 50 metres and then lo and behold there are some creatures on my map. These creatures did not appear when I did the initial scan.

Is it me or is there a way the creatures can still hide?

The problem is areatrack will not pick creatures unless they have spawned first. Unless someone else has passed before and caused the spawns you'll have to force them yourself. I don't know how. Yesterday I ran thru Dathomir for more than 10 minutes without a single spawn. I know cause maskscent wore off.

I wonder if it has anything to do with server boundaries? Like maybe when you do a scan you just happen to be standing right next to a server boundary so anything on the other side of the boundary doesn't show up.

I have had a similar experience. I did /areatrack people and not one thing showed up. I turned around and I could see humanoid mobs in my visual range. Why didn't they get picked up by the /areatrack?

I have the same thing happen to me. I like area track, but its really no good unless other people have run through the area you are going through and forced a spawn.

I was running through LOK tonite and was checking AREA TRACK. I was in an open area did the scan for animals nothing, checked for people nothing , checked for animals again WAM!!! 10 MOBS showed up. Also have had area scans where it was just finishing ana MOB lair poped up about100M from me said it couldn't find anything.

As for therebeing less spawns the timer for spawns staying active is also causing probs. Had stuff on scan report went there could see on RADAR then POOF gone.
