HEY.... watch that....
altho I have "dam mit Jim, what the h ell's wrong with you?"on my PC at start up
and Combat Engineers get to blow stuff up, what's wrong with that?

I have the same concerns and I too have decided that its not something we can fight. I have simply resolved myself to the fact that I am a Ranger now because of what it is. If it changes to something I don't like.. then I simply won't be one.
I do like many of the proposed changes in the new vision, but I disagree with stretching the profession guidelines to "please everyone". I would prefer to piss some people off and be one the few Rangers that sticks with it. I think the weaknesses and strengths of the professions should interlock like a jigsaw puzzle.. but unfortunately the voices of those that wish to be all things to all people speak much louder.
Irregardless, despite all the hard work from Nraas, I have seen nothing from SOE that in any way assures me that we are not all wasting our time by providing any feedback at all. The end result remains to be seen.
