I need to get a better view on what the going rate is for meat. Other than a few specialty meats, I don't know what's a resonable price. Anyone got a list of CPU per meat, wild and starter planets. Already checked SWGcraft. Thx folks.

Right now it is easiest to just look for contracts on your galaxy trade forums. It saves you from needing to price the meat for yourself. Or you can start an auction for your stacks at 2 or 3 cpu and let the crafters decide how much it is worth to them.Pricing is highly server and profession dependent. On Eclipse, 200cpu is not especially rare and 50cpu is almost common. But those are mostly the high end crafters offering those prices. Most people don't even like 20cpu. I usually end up giving my resources away (mainly because I can't be bothered to sell them--it is only a game) but I know of lots of people who work out contracts before going to get the meat. Just send a friendly tell to a crafter asking if there is any specific meat in shift they would be interested in and how much they would be willing to pay (and how much they would want). Then you can go harvest that meat and trade it in.

Enbow,

High OQ (800+)Herb and Avian meat will fetch at least 20cpu on Starsider. Add in a PE of 500-750 and you can get 30 easy. OQ&PE over 800 will get you 40cpu. Really large stacks of High OQ/PE meats will go for 40-50cpu depending on buyer.

Wooly hide is the onlyhide type I really have luck selling. 10 - 15cpu is normal. OQ and stack size seem to be the big deal, but I don't sell enough of it to be sure.

Larger stacks will get you more CPU. Leathery Hide is also a good seller, I usually get 5-10cpu with larger stacks going for more credits per.

Wild Milk and Eggs are good for 2-5cpu depending on quality, then stack size.

These are just my experiences though, I'm sure there's folks on Starsider making more or less.

I'll also suggest that you stop selling these things on the Bazzar. Find yourself a regular buyer, or hock the stuff in front of one of the busier spaceports. That's what I ultimatly had to do to start making monkey. I found a regular buyer for my Herb and Avian meat, and I've been bringing home the bank the last couple of weeks.

I regularly see eggs sold for 20cpu. It's not that hard to get 1K of milk in an evening, but it takes upwards of a week to get 1K eggs.

I need to go on some meat hunts and get a tity little stockpile together. I was wondering why my hides would sell on the Bazaar so fast. Cause they dirt cheap!

And I'm so broke, lol Of course, decorating and buying new rifles takes a bunch of credits, but still.

How do you get eggs anyway? I've never bothered with them or trying to find out how to gather them. Never been any demand for them =/

Search lairs for eggs. When close to a lair, select it and you should see a radial option menu for search lair. You will get one of three things: nothing, a creature sample, or eggs. Milk you get by masking scent (or concealing) and select the milk option on certain creatures.

I met a Scout on Lok on Chim. server who had a contract for Lokian Avian meat @ 10CPU. I felt really sorry for her, that someone had seen fit to take advantage. I put her straight though and pointed out that it was worth 30cpu.

When in need of a few credits, as I usually am, I dropped 20 stacks (100 units)of my stockpiled 840 OQ, 900 PE avian meat on the bazzar for 60 cpu and it sold in a day. I put it up there at what I though was a low price in order tosell itquickly. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

(1) Remember that your customer is paying mainly for your time. Consider how much that is worth to you.

(2) If a customer claims to have another scout/ranger who will hunt for less than you, then let them go with the other scout. Don't sell yourself short.

:::Blink:::

Ah man. I threw away a 250 unit stack of Dathomir Eggs that had 900+ OQ and PE because no one would give me 3cpu. I should have just held on to them for awhile.

I really wish I knew what Eggs and Milk were good for . It might make it easier to both price and sell. I've checked some of the crafting related websites, but I haven't found one that would let me search schematics based on ingredients.

5cpu is the absolute limit I've ever been able to sell for, and that's in large, 550+ eggs, and 2500+ milk, stacks.
