I personally love this combo, I was just wondering if anyone else has this combo?

Gotta love melee rangers. Medics follow them for the xp in the early times. Still considering going TK, but somehow Grasshopper slaying Rancors...I dunno.

When buffed u can take out a whole bull rancor lair in 2 minutes with master heavy swordsman.

I don't doubt it, and the sword sounds cool too, tho it scares the cats.
But alas, I don't doc buff or wear armor. Think I will stay with pistols... but one never does know....

My friend is a Master Heavy Swordsman and 4-2-4-4 Ranger (going to Master). We go hunting all the time I'm a Fencer (not master yet) and 3-4-3-4 Ranger. Last night in about 2 hours we each collected about 10K of Insect meat on Endor. He said he was in meat collecting mode, and was killing everything he could reach (we got a guy paying 25cpu for the Endor Insect Meat).

This is my analysis of the swordsman/ Ranger combination
I just dropped swords to pursue pikeman for comparison. (im planning on mastering every weap profession and compare them to find the best fit for me)
The swordsman have amazing weapons, the hammer, the scythe and can solo some awesome things while buffed or unbuffed. While unbuffed, I was taking down 3 to 4 fambaas at a time, pop a stim B in the middle and keep beating them up. The damage output vs. speed combined with the melee defense, while not as great as tka, still kept me up and relatively untouched for most of the fight. When unbuffed, I rarely wear armor, the action and health secondaries are kind of weak on a zabrak so I keep them almost maxed out.
I really liked swordsman, even moreso than TKM partly for the different damage types and partly for the focused head hits. In PvP, with my scythe, I nailed an overt imperial in 5 head hits. Like any melee prof, its a pain to chase the critters or players around, but with my terrain navigation maxed, I usually overtake them.
I can and have soloed an ancient bull rancor with every weap prof that ive had, (buffed of course) however, with swordsman, the blast damage on that big guy was an extra plus.
Right now, i plan on returning to swordsman when I finish my weapon quest. It seems the best fit to how I play the game.
