Thread: Master Ranger+Master Carbineer?

was wondering if a master ranger and master carbineer would be any good solo-able. Swordsman is not working out for me, i cant harvest enough resources fast enough. Could i get some feed-back on what combat prof would be best coupler with ranger? thanks

Rifleman/Ranger for me. Doing pretty good solo. But, Carbineer would probably be fine too.

Carbineer works pretty well with it, especially since it gives you a snare. Carbines have been my favorite weapon since Day 1, so it ws the first combo I tried with Ranger.

And the guns look cool.
I think carbiner goes well with our traps. I use traps to apply states or to root and then pile on the carbiner snare and go from there.
I solo'ed a gorax or five last night (well, I have a suspicion that a certain trap works too well), and I can pretty much handle any level 80+ critter provided that it's one on one (sometimes I can use traps to keep other critters at bay, but sometimes I get eaten when there's more than one). NPCs are a different question - I can generally hold my own, but some level 80's have bettered me one on one.

If only we had enough skill points to get pistoleer 0004 we would be rocking, lol. Stopping shot is awesome.
