Thread: CU is done so....
After looking through the forum looks like it was business as usual for Rangers. The profession go the usual trreatment from the usual suspects, Calc tried to keep things in order with the usual propaganda, and Owen was the always welcome realist. Oh well time to log in and see if the combat revamp fixed how boring combat had become. I must say inspite of the neglect Rangers got I am hopeful for many of the other aspects of the game.
Traps generally are useless except for pdarts.
Harvest is way way way up, as is XP for scout.
Camps are once again useful as there are few docs about.
Dat's about it.

Why are camps useful because there are no docs around? They don't heal wounds...well ok they do, like 1 every 10 minutes
It's not a great healing rate but for HTFB's it's currently 140 points of healing per hour.
On a per second basis that would be, or ahhhhhh, let's see here......140 divided by 60 minutes......carry the 7.....plus three....move the decimal point....nought, nought....times six.....ahhhhh. Camps for healing for 140 points per hours or 9,756.9 points per second.
You may want to check my math on that.

Well, I think my 7 month hiatus did the trick. I think most of the changes are a step in the right direction for SWG and that the combat upgrade has improved things just NOT for Ranger. I think that new players will find the current iteration of SWG far more enjoyabel than they would have when I left 7 months ago. It still needs some work though because my retired Ranger was a TKM/MB/Master Swordsman when I left and when I logged in last night he was able to solo only without buffs most stuff on Dant although grouping was much more fun and viable than it was in the past. Instead of being invited to a solo group i was invited to be their tank. I was offered to respec but if I do how long do i have to try diferent things out? I am really interested is GunFu's MBH/MR/SL template.
So for my 2cents I think so far the game has improved but Ranger has slipped farther perhaps they will merge it with SL or delete it down the road I dont know. Maybe our problem was fopcusing on the harvesting tree for changes rather than trying to make the survival tree include defensive mods or something.
What's the hospital healing rate? I want to say 4 wound every 10 minutes, but it's probably 10 every 4. Which would make them slightly better than HTFB.
