Thread: Fellow Rangers a moment please

Hello all,
I currently have Master Scout, Master Marksman and am only 3 short trapping boxes from gaining my much wanted Master Ranger badge. The problem I am having is that the only city on Tatooine, The Valley of Death, that had a Ranger trainer removed him yesterday.
This now leaves me with no place to train. In addition I am having one heck of a time getting anything other then 2 xp per successful trap use!
At level 48 even creatures only a few levels below me are netting me 2 xp! And this is being doubled at the moment. Can anyone tell me what is going on with this?
I can't survive against creatures my own level. I can't group with anyone higher as then the traps simply refuse to workl. So it appears as though I am going to face a very difficult choice. Choose to take a year to make Master Ranger, or drop it.
I really do not want to take the latter option but this seems unworkable at the moment. In addition I posted in the Bria Galaxy section, an open letter to the City of VoD asking them to kindly return the Ranger Trainer. One person posted that Ranger was soon to be dropped from the game. Does anyone have any idea if this is indeed the case?
I'm still fairly new to this game, less then 30 days playing. I love it. I love the idea of having a Ranger. What is happening to this class? I've read some here. None of it seems to uplifting. And now with the new patch trainers are removed as if to say Rangers, your a thing of the past.
Anyone with any helpful advice, please I would appreciate it.

as you walk out of the starport in kadraa go left and down there will be a NPC there hes a trainer

Ranger's not going anywhere. We're too pretty.

There are ranger trainers all around you, sometimes they are hard to find, but if you make contact with one add them to your pals list and keep in touch. I of course mean other rangers. Sometimes it'll mean you travelling a couple of planets to train up, but its worth it.
If you can't get hold of a ranger there's a trainer at Mos Entha. (Out the starport, sharp left, out the gap in the building and work clockwise round the city walls. He's under a canopy near the cloner)
There is also a list of trainers in the FAQ stickied up at the top of the page. (Or it was there.. is it still.. been a long time, lol)

Coronet, shuttle B, go west past the large flying bird and you will see a Ranger trainer at the edge of town.
Naschal on Talus, there is a trainer in a camp down by the river (not in a van tho).

ROFL, I've been humming Springstein's "The River" all afternoon since reading JB's post.
Bummer on the late shift tho

Owen and I have been asking the developers about the trapping xp problem - we will let you know when we get and answer.

Can you find another ranger near your CL and both throw traps to get xp?
