Given you're posting in the middle of the night for 'most' players, I'd not be too upset at not getting a reply within a few hours.

OK, standard reply to "what should I do" is "What do you WANT to do?" Sometimes you've got to ask the right questions if you want an answer.

Do you want to be a Master Ranger, get the full harvest bonus, all the cammo kits, big tent, weird traps, the increased health and CL but no combat mods? Then I'd say, go Master Ranger.

Do you just want to harvest? If you've got the Skill Points to spare and can live with dropping a few boxes elsewhere, take the hunting lines and dont bother with MR.

Do you want to be viable in PvP and still be able to hunt? Then I'd not go ranger (no combat modifiers at the moment) but would build a template based around, say, BH, pistoleer and smuggler's pistol lines to get great offence/defence abilities, some scary specials AND still have the ability to maskscent and hunt.

At the end of the day, it's your decision as to how you make your toon. It really isn't a "Life Or Death" matter, because if you get it wrong, you can always rebuild your template to be more the way that you want it.

The big problem with letting other people make the decision for you is that you end up with some prescriptive "the is the ultimate ranger template" and, while it might work for George or Fred or Jean, for you, it really sucks and isn't fun to play. If it's just info on dofferent templates, well, there's LOADS of posts in this forum alone discussing the merits of ranged/melee, rifle/carbines, CH or whatever possible variation you can get. (istr seeing a merchant/ranger and I know of one MID/ranger from the 'olde' days...)

Decide what you want the character to be, then have fun building it. As soon as it stops being fun, you've gone the wrong way and should maybe think of adjusting something.

sry i was tierd and had a bad day but i just wanted to here some opinions and thak you for yours. i think i will go for master ranger but im not looking forword to traping lol. I just realizyed the CH gets repetative and i need to chage my temp so yes ty.
