Thread: Better race for a ranger?
oh dear, here we go
the infamous "bothan v rodian" battle/debate
Circe' Pojia traps? you wanna talk about traps? for a rodian, a freaking lightbulb is a trap. 30 watts, 30 trapped rodians, and the lightbulb is still the brightest thing in the room.
Bothans have Ranger bonuses. Rodians do not.
game. set. match.
#5. No fur to get burrs in
#4. Suction cup fingers come in handy for picking berries
#3. Tall enough to see over
#2. Compound eyes for spotting game at all angles
...and the #1 reason Rodians are better:
#1. No "wet dog" smell when it rains.

Well, guess I better weigh in here, as Phenix, the top bothan supporter has already spoken, it's time to hear from the main Rodian supporter.
I will concede on 1 point. Bothans are technically better for Ranger, as they get bonuses to Rangery abilities.
But overall, Rodians are far superior in EVERY other aspect.
If you don't believe me, click the link in my signature and read the initial post in that thread for all the reasons we are better.

Ok I will wage my own personal war against all Rodians--I am half human so i have to stand up for them a little.

#5 This is intentional. We bring seeds from one area to another, helping to ensure the wilderness we dearly love continues to thrive. Rodians are hairless nature haters.
#4 We have teeth, useful for chewing food.
#3 Small enough to hide without much effort.
#2 Puppy dog eyes, great for getting your way. Also we don't look like bugs.
...and the #1 reason Bothans are better:
#1 Just like snakes, Rodians are "slimy" to the touch. That's just icky.

I guess that's true... it's much easier to /maskscent when you already smell like most of the animals you're hunting

There is no standing up to us. Resistance if futile. Everything is already set in motion. Right now us Rodians are just biding our time, and when the time comes, we will take over the galaxy. Join us or we will suck your souls out through your eyes with our suction cup fingers.
