I was just wondering. I've been grinding my way through the traps tree today, taking a pretty leisurly pace, and milking anything that I can. I've amassed quite the supply of wild milk with OQ over 900. I was wondering, and this by no means a price check here. How difficult/easy do y'all find to sell this stuff? Is it worth all the time I've been taking to collect it?

Well it depends from server to server mate but make sure you list the OQ/FL/PE stats as chefs use those and are important. High stat stuff (those 3 stats) goes for a nice CPU but most likely the CPU differences will be massive so best list it on your trade boards.

Make sure you mention the:

  • Milk name

  • OQ

  • PE

  • FL

  • Stack you have (how many units)

After that if you get someone will to buy it, make sure you set your price higher than theirs so you can work your way down bartering. Good luck on getting a buyer, and i wouldnt sell milk for perhaps less than 40-50cpu?

I think I may try that. . . or, as I think about it, I may just horde as much of it as I can and start giving stacks to newer people and suchto help out, 'cause I here for most people it's tough to come by.

BE uses it too. I find it best to get stack sizes in multiples of 5k, and a minimum of 10k. It just makes stuff easier to sell.

Apparently crap milk can be used for bantha butter. So, if you get many random stacks and have access to a creature resource recycler I would suggest you combine em and see if you could sell em.

As a long term Ranger with a chef alt I think I can answer your question here.

Milk = $$$$$ It's as good as gold.

On our server any milk, regardless of stat, can be sold at 30 cpu as a standing order. You just offering it to either of a couple of different vendors. Why? While milk does go into Bantha Butter, which is a chef sub and stats are not needed, it is now being in higher demand for a BE food additive that in the past we did not use. Basically the BE food additive impacts different stats on our foods as compared to our old tried and true BE addtive (which always impacted nutrition). So, now chef's/BE's need milk for the BE additive (which takes A LOT).

So, figure at least in our economy you can sell milk all day long at 30 cpu. Something with good stats can bring 50 cpu as it would then be used in specific food.

If you can grab milk and have the patience to do it it's a cash cow. Consider bantha's on Tattooine...out by the krayt graveyard. Large spawns. Easy to trap. Easy to milk. Good milk drop. Plentyfull. You can milk one spawn, go the next, let the first spawn regen milk, rinse and repeat....you can often find 3 or 4 large bantha spawns near the graveyard and cycle between them on milking runs.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
