Ranger Archive

I was a Bounty Hunter on Sunrunner (2/3/4/4). I can proudly say I did the Investigation 1 slot and didn't by pass it like every other intelligent healthy well thinking Bounty Hunter did. After tracking the 30+ marks from planet to planet and using the droids, I realize howfriggin boring this tree is, but I kept at it.

Then I found a holo........ Droid Engineer is what it told me to master. /cry /mope /slap self

I gave up the Bounty Hunter gig. I was done, I didn't want to waste anymore money tracking marks. So before I gave up my skills to go DE, I thought I would try to master Ranger before I left this part of the game (all other remaining skills points I had were in the Ranger Tree). I am now Novice Ranger(4/3/4/3). Hoping to have master by this weekend so I can continue my quest for the force.

I am writing this to say Thank You to the Rangers for reminding me how much fun this game can be. I had forgotten.

I would like to introduce myself as a would be ranger.

Basically I have always wanted to climb the ranger tree, and recently through the joy’s of a holocron, I have been tasked to master ranger.

I am 4/4/2/4 at the moment, and expect I should be able to master it tonight. (I plan on putting 6-7 hours of solid playing on dath), I have to say , as my chosen profession was bounty hunter, coming here when I was 2/4/4/4 BH, I expected that there would be a lot of in fighting, and complaining.

Not so I found out. All of the help was great, all my questions where answered in FAQ’s or the quickly answered posts by everyone else.

I really wish the BH forums could learn from you guys. I wish I could keep my master Ranger title after tonight, but the massive requirements from BH are preventing this.

Anyways, I wanted to say thank you all, I was only lurking, but I learned so much.

p.s. if it wasn’t for the holocron , I think I would have deactivated my account because of the BH bugs. But thanks to ranger. My fun for the game has been renewed.

Thor, you and I had a similar experience

I was a 3.4.4.4 BH...and a novice ranger...I found the BH missions to be linear and boring. I wasted too much money for not enough payout the prof was bugged and i wasnt having any fun, however being a ranger was something that i really enjoyed. so i dumped BH and became a full blooded ranger...
