Hello everyone

Is the bug for Ranger using /takecover and stuck at a slow speed (or even completly unable to move) for days finally removed ?

Personnaly, i was completly stuck for 3 days (the time for a CSR to came... yeahhh (relly quick repsonse indeed...) ) so i WON'T use anymore /takecover until i saw an post saying it's corrected....

Someone (I can't remember who, sorry) recently posted a very helpful message about why some people suffer from this bug, and some don't.

If you have /takecover mapped to a Shift+Functiontool slot, you will be more likely to suffer the bug. If you simply type /take instead of using one of your Function keys, you're not going to get stuck.

ya, the bug happens if you map it to a shift-function key. You are in "walk" mode if you have the default mapping while pressing shift. Take Cover holds to this state for some dumb reason and will NOT let go... when getting out of take cover it automatically shifts down, AGAIN, making a uber-slow state. I have no idea the logic for this, and I have not ever tested this on a char that also was not a Ranger so I don't know if it is significant. I suspect it is, as I also have some problem with masked scent and conceal breaking more then my CH/Ranger counterparts and Scouts(in the case of MS).

When I get the "sneak" ability (one more box ) I'll test it again and see if it goes away. That might be usefull info for the devs/programmers.
