Has anyone found a way to use macros to grind frontiering xp yet? If so please post it here.

Macros? Talk about lazy. Get some friends, go hunting, pop a camp, heal, craft, sing, dance, massive xp, no time. Oh, you just want to grind it out, not have any fun or learning anything? Go macros, 50 mins per camp, while you sleep, is, oh 9 camps maybe, 10k maybe in XP.

But, in the same time - you go hunting, harvest a load of stuff, have fun, get weapons and scout xp, and the camps you do max out in less time because you are there doing stuff. 8 hrs of hunting and camping, at 2 camps per hour for 8 mins each 16 - 19k minimum, not to mention the rest of the scout xp you garner and the creds you can get from selling what you harvested. What do ya lose, nothing, you will make master eventually, and you got a working knowledge of the planet.

I love macro campers, they have no clue and make me look so much smarter --

Player - "Hey macro Ranger - what creatures drop xxx hides?"

Macro Master - "I dunno"

JB - "oh, having experienced the game some, that would be the XYX beast, found in this region. Want a guide?"

So to macro grinders, ty ty ty, you make my life so much easier

No, not macroing makes you smarter, hence more experienced, and more valuable to a group. Given the choice between a macro Ranger and one who actually earned it... well there isn't a choice.

There are many things you can only learn by doing. Which creatures BAF; who drops what hides/meat/bone and in what quanitites and where they live; how fast do those beasts run? All this is stuff you may want to know, and macro camping is not gonna help you learn this. Go to different planets, go hunting, and camp in between the missions. The best XP I ever got was on Dantooine, in a group of 8, running missions like fiends for xp and cash. In two hours I probably popped 8 camps, maxed them all out and made decent creds and weapons xp, as well as scout and trapping xp. Leveled 3 boxes on one trip in Ranger alone. And after that trip I was more or less schooled on how to hunt Huurtons and Pickets.

But go ahead and macro. I guess some people don't want to see the scenery on the trip, they just want to get to the destination. If you don't know how you got there, what good is that?

Here's my Macro:

1) place a camp
2) /watchTV
/waitforcommercial
3) tear down said camp
4) place new camp

watch Sony nerf the time between commercials to screw that up
