Thread: Area Tracking

Deriving from my in-game experience trackingas a Master Ranger and from reading various posts in this forum, I am almost positive now that:


1. You can't track something that hasn't spawned yet.
2. NPC's and creatures will not spawn until an actual player comes within a certain distance of the spawn point....I assume this is to reduce server load... a good idea since there is no reason for anything to be there if no one is there to see it.


Unfortunately, this basically reduces the effectiveness and consistency of tracking anything but players and static npc's.


The obvious solution is to increase the distancefrom player to creature that induces a spawnto a number higher than our maximum tracking range, 501m (assuming our max track range is 500m).


Can we add this to our list of needed fixes?
