I'm curious. I'm opening up a vendor for camping supplies. How much would you all sell crates of basic camp kits, multiperson camp kits, traps, etc?

Thanks

Anian

**edit**, the HTML looked fine in the preview. Let's try that again.

It does take a bit of work to get HTML links to work ZioGiovanni

  • Hint: you need to hand type in the HTML code via the Edit As HTML window

I did, all three times, and it still didn't take. When I previewed the post it worked fine, but when I submitted the link didn't show up. Go figure!

"When I previewed the post it worked fine"

That was your mistake... You can not use Preview Post without losing the link code.

Again, back to the original post -- I can make the stuff, why spend credits on it?? I tend to carry 3 camps with me. I need a quick camp, I make a basic right there, I always have the stuff. Same deal on traps, carry 50 or so, make more as needed. For the life of me, I can't see spending credits on stuff I can make out of stuff I normally carry.

More power to ya if you can sell the stuff. I tried one time, not my shop, not my vendor, a favor more or less, and the camps and traps bombed.

It appears the market would be geared more towards dabblers...

  • Those who would spend the minimal number of skill points to be able to use the equipment, but not enough points to actually make it themselves.

Most hard-core Rangers would probably never pay for a service such as this...

  • As JBMat noted: We can make everything ourselves.

Personally, I don't know if there is a sufficient population of Rangers to actually make such an service profitable...

  • Selling crafted Ranger equipment would probably bea too small a niche market.

I make basic tents in a crate selll them in tens and manage to shift about 6 a day at 2k a time. This is on a new server so people are not overly rich but with the bugs with pets zooming off they sell well to CHs who would prefer action to crafting.
