Thread: Trapping Skill
I'm a scout (and not planning on getting ranger), but I need a little advice from the rangers in the community. I'd like to bolster my combat skills with some trapping ability, but I'd like to ask a question.
How high must one go in the Trapping tree in order to apply traps to high level enemies? For example, I can clobber large creatures like grauls, etc. but I'm guessing that, as a 3/0/4/0 scout, I probably can't successfully apply a trap to that creature.
I don't really have many skill points to spend but, if getting up to trapping 1 or2 would be enough to apply traps to most mobs, I'd probably go that route. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I am a wookie though, and get a +10 racial bonus to the skill, so your results may differ.
Well, then maybe trapping is out of the question for me. ![]()
I'm a master doctor and fight fully buffed at all times (my character is actually tailored to that type of fighting). As I'm always buffed, I'm always taking on red cons (as the con system doesn't change regardless of whether or not I have 650 Health or 3,650 Health). I imagine, if that's the case, I'd never be able to apply a trap with trapping 1 or 2.
Thanks, though.
