Well, to be fair, the recent past of the smugglers forum have involved riots and a number of cancellations; amusingly enough, caused by statements made by Tiggs and others. I'm amazed she has the fortitude to go back in there given the amount of anger I've seen on the smugglers forum in the last few weeks. I think she's attempting damage control...

The smugglers mood is understandable, they wend for "rewarped as the first after the CU" to "getting it a little bit at the time instead of all at once" and then the anouncment of the new expantion. What is more amazing that Tiggs actuarially posting in the smugglers forum, is that her is not more careful with how she word things.
If I was the Dev's I would not have posted to the topic in question, it was looking like a place where the smugglers was blowing off some steam, and dev posts always attract other who thing the only way to dev attention to thair pet problem is to reply to dev posts.

The only way to get a similar dev response would be if the mood on this board goes as bad, and that would be a shame. Especially with how little it really achieves.
There is something to be said for letting sleeping dragons lie, though you can be darn sure that it was not a ranger that said it.

Thats not entirely true. I know it is often said that the "whiners" as many label them get no attention but the trends indicate otherwise. It appears if you are loud enough in a profession with enough popularity that you will get some attention. So in a sense its true that if our forum did degrade it would still achieve nothing because our profession represents such as small population.

Has anyone tried a more direct approach? Go straight to the "Dragon's Den?"Anyoneone thinking that. Well, I am sure that our current and previous correspondents have many a time been able to communicate our needs. I am quite sure there is a lot that goes on in the "Dev Den"we are not all aware of or don't consider (eg. logistic, management,economic and development,issues, etc).

We just need to keep having faith that we will get taken care of. However, we can't sit by the wayside and "hope" it happens. We need to keep in touch with the Devs at SOE and keep together as Rangers.

We as a community are pretty darn good at that already.

Of course, the Bria board got 6 visits from Tiggs and even BixieBopper came out from behind the sofa to troll a while...

Whole bunch of other red names posting here and there the past couple of days, maybe they've stopped 'internally testing' Mustafar and are just trying to keep their post count up?
