Hello Ranger community. I'm nearly a master ranger, grinding out traps, and have been watching this forum for awhile, learning much from many of you, thanks for that. In searching through the forum though, I have been struggling to find any real effective way to find quality resources repeatedly. Does anyone have either a good hunting ground that will spawn high quality resources or know how to track high quality resource spawns? Any guidance would be appreciated, thank you.

Quality comes and goes. I suggest checking creatures near a starport on each planet to see if there is anything good out. And, if that takes too much time, use a 30K resource deed.
swgcraft.com is also a good source.

Resource quality doesn't come from the area that you hunt, but rather from the type of material at the time. For example, all Dath Carnivore meat harvested right now will be the same name (ex:Ehpe) and will have the stats. Tommorrow, the resource might "shift" (meaning change) into another version of the same resource. I.E. tommorrow, Dath Carnivore Meat might be named (Renniks) and it will have different stats.
So nobody can give you the best "spots" because while this week one planet might have good wooley hide, next week there could be an amazing spawn of bristley hide. It all comes down to what resource is good on your server at a particular time.

Thank you for that info, in that case then, is there a good site or forum where people report that day, or weeks hotspot for quality resources?

Don't let that keep you from checking other resources that aren't mentioned there though.

After you find what's good to hunt, head over to SWGCreatues.com. You can chose between the various planets and specify what exactly you're looking for. Use the advanced search function to find the locations of some of your target animals. From Lokian scaly to Nabooian wild milk. It's player driven, much like SWGCraft, so it can get a little behind in terms of the spawns. Good thing is that it will tell you when the sightings are updated. Good luck!

i have a BE contact who send out an email to hunters with a list of high quality resources she's interested in. it's a pretty good system, i dare say.
im not sure if you're selling the resources or not, but it seemed to me like you needed them for traps. if so, remember that unless im gravely mistaken the stats of a resource make no difference to anything we craft, be it traps or camps, so you dont need good quality resources, you just need a lot of them.

I apologize for the misconception, I'm selling resources to various smiths and tailors. I am also an avid collector of resources for people who just need something good versus grind quality. My traps I construct with grind materials. Thank you guys for the help and recommendation of the sites, I appreciate it.
