They are actually large jellyfish.

And please /bug this if in fact you could not harvest dem bones.

Well... Pickets could be exoskeletal like insects, but I doubt it.

/bug it, as the man who "Fears the Rasp" would.

these things always bothered me. I suppose I shuld /bug things like this too. stuff like creatures with leathery looking skin offering wooly hides.

Hmmm discovered during my trip up to Master Ranger that Pickets ( The most harvested Critter around ) have no bones. Apparently made of Jello. Go figure.....
