I have been gone along time. When I got back I cant call my full grown dragonet, or desert razor back. Im 3200. I also have a half grown GSP how long will I be able to call her? I planed on going 4411 but will that be any good? I'd ask on the CH boards but thay get mad at dabblers. Any help would be great. Sorsha Havblaster Master Ranger Bria

You need to look at your creatures difficulty level and compare that to your Max creature level skill (or something like that). If the difficulty level of your pets are higher than that, you won't be able to use them until you are skilled enough to call them. basicly they changed it so if you have a creature that you wouldn't otherwise be able to tame, you can't call it. There is supposed to be a program that allows you to exchange your high level pets for ones you can use, but I think that's for non-CH who have creatures who's levels have been changed.
Right now I am at 3/1/2/2 CH and I can call level 29 creatures.

Indeed, go into your skill tree and to the left where all ytour skill bonuses are listed look for the one that says Max Level of pets..that tells you the top level pet you can currently control, it also determines the what combination of pet levels you can have. So if you have a a max level of 50, you can control 1 level 50 pet at a time or 2 level 25, etc. However how many pets you have out atone time is also determine by the Additional Pets stat which is obatined on the far right CH tree.

There was a big change to creature stats and levels in December. The same patch altered the CH tree. These are the reasons you are having problems with pets that you once could call.

With the new tree at 3,2 0,0 you have Max Level of Pets (CL level you can call and control) of 23. The adult lvl on the GSP is 25 so you will need to pick up another skill box to be able to call it when it is full grown.

With thecurrent tree you get Max Level of Pets +12 at novice, +2 for each skill one and skill two box, +3 for each skill three box, and +5 for each skill four box. So when you get 4,4,1,1 you could call and control CL 40 critters. The commands and other bonuses were also moved all around in the change, so you should check out the new tree on the skill page in game. (the second pet out mod is still at Management 3 though).
