It's hard to notice a difference between master scout (or harvesting 4) and novice ranger.. you would notice a bigger difference when you get higher into ranger and on up compared to harvesting 4 in scout or master. If you want to get a lot more harvesting bonus having xx4x ranger would help a lot with veghash.

ok tks.

i should of been a bit more specific im looking into getting ranger 0040 how much bigger a difference is this than a scout 0040

frankly i have heard that a droid can harvest as well as a 0040 scout so im just determining if its worth the skill points.

say a novice scout can harvest 50 hide for said animal, how much would you estimate a ranger 0040 get?

Only about 15% more from 0040 to 4040. There is no bonus at master. From novice Scout to master Ranger, in fact, is only about 33%. Kinda sad, that...

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.
