Edit: I really did click "reply" on the Droid thread... really. It even returned me to the droid thread. But, I'm at school and keep loosing my connection so I think that might have done it. Anyway, change the droid harvesting formula and add camp functions through droids!
Harvesting bonuses desperately need to be based on a precentage of the droid owner's skill, not the weird formual that allows novice scouts to harvest as much as a master scout.
We have been asking for better camps and functions in camps and droids could be a way to add this functionality to camps and provide flexibility. Let the droids allow BF and/or wound healing while in camp. Mini-buffs would also be a great addition and make camps more popular. Can you image new players seeking out a camp so they can get a small boost to their abilities? It would be cool to be needed as a ranger. Heh, can you image getting the tell "Are you camping?". That would be sweet to be wanted for something other than creature harvesting.

Squirrel, someone gave you bad info.
Droids harvest based on the owner's harvesting ability. A non scout buys one, it don't work.
You get a 90% model, it gets 90% of what you would. Ergo - only 100% and better models are useful at all.
Novice scouts do not ever get anything near what a Master Ranger gets, using a 110% droid and veghash even. Oh yeah, veghash figures into your harvesting ability when computing the droid's harvest. I have seen a novice scout using a droid get his whopping (for him) 10 units, with veghash. I popped 20, without a 110% droid and without veghash.

I'm not sure about this JB. I have a friend who is Scout-Hunting IV and his 104 Harvesting droid pulls in SLIGHTLY less then I do as a Master Ranger. This is as of about 3 weeks ago. Not sure if anything has changed since then.

It's not a direct percentage but it is skill based--borrow your friend's 104 droid and you will pull more than him.

Not by much. A combat stacker with 3040 Scout+ Droid+ Food will outharvest a ranger over time unless you are hunting pharples or flits. If someone needs Lok Carnivore I'll bet on the stacker+droid+food over the Master Ranger any day of the week. The droid harvesting equation needs to be rethought.
