I'm looking for a guide that can show me how much I should charge per unit for decent spawns.

Thats the funny thing about being a ranger. There really is no price guide. I think alot of rangers check the trade forums and harvest what people happen to be looking for. I guess if you don't use this method , 20-30 cpu for good resources isn't asking too much. Avian meat always goes for more, around 70-100 for really good spawns. But it is gonna depend on your server alot.
My suggestion would be to check the trade forums to see if there is someone who is buying particular shifts.

Your best bet is to check the trade forums or your server's RIN chat channel. You'll get an idea of what people are paying. It's been said before, but as a ranger you'll never need to set a price. Just go with the highest offer, or sell to a select set of docs/chefs/BE's who you like helping out, even if they're not offering the most.
Many many moons ago, there was a guide on the forums for pricing creature resources, but it's obsolete now. Basically, it's impossible to do.. Too many variables -- server, resource type, planet, difficulty, income potential of the crafter's profession, not to mention stats.
Also, "decent" is extremely subjective!
What may be great insect meat for a chef would be unusable for a BE, and vice versa. Some herbivore might be excellent for a BE, but that same meat might be so-so for a doctors needs.. however, they'll still be able to outbid a BE.

What I have done is I sell to 2 or 3 people. Mostly they are resouce vendors themselves. I don;t always get The highest payout but it is always a very good one and I can be sure they will buy ALL that I get. I even have one guy that e-mails me a list of what he is buying and paying at least once a week. Much better then taking a contract and having to hunt just one thing till your done.
