Ranger Archive

First let me say I dropped ranger a long time ago, but darn I miss areatrack.

Anyway, there was a thread in game guides about the new loot revamp, and one item was a "headless protcol droid schematic" or something. Nobody on testcenter said they had ever found one, but one person chimed in and said he literally, "saw it sitting on the ground." Now this got me thinking. Maybe is it possible that they actually made those "chance to forage a rare item" as listed in skill a reality? It is probably hard to tell because I doubt anybody forages these days because of availability of buffs and BE foods and such.

Anyway, on the slim chance that the DEV's gave rangers some much needed love, it would be pretty cool. Anybody want to test this out? Can't be much worse than standing around and killing meatlumps for a few hours

A headless protocol droid? Kind of like Zeta from Batman Beyond? We wont be able to forage it trust me. Its to electronic for that. It will be a look item dropped probaly by droidekas

Back when junk dealer loot kit items were hot, the meatlumps were a good farming source.

If I'm feeling bored, I'll spend some time foraging tonight. But given that, if this even works, its a *rare* item... it'll take more then just me to test this out adequately.
However, if they made any improvements to foraging, I'm sure they would have been more overt about it... the skill has nowhere to go but up.
