Hello
I'm a droid engineer and i'm looking for some tests about droids.
Please consult this post on the DE board
You need to make the test on the exact same creatures and on the same location, tests without droid, and with a droid. Then report to us the Harvesting Bonus of your droid, so we can calculate how much more the droid harvests than yourself !
Thanx a lot

And now the bad news.
Your data, while promising, is flawed. Two animals from the same lair can drop different amounts of the same resource. Even sharing fat and healthy characteristics. There is a built in variable to how much each creature drops.
Therefore, trying to come up with the formula is about tough, unless you know the variable.
At best your formula will be in general, not specifics.
And yeah, I have harvested a couple of animals so I do know what I am talking about. Oh, and you really want to have fun, harvest during a shift, your numbers are all over the board.

Lukos,
I am currently working on just such a formula and table set for this forum. Please readmy reply to the original post in the DE forum and contact me if you would like to share data and preliminary formula results.

If it's the exact same creature's name, on the exact same point of the map, noteven a 3 meters distance, the creatures should drop the same number. Check the data provided by Wirebiter. In 28 tries, 27 gave the exact same amount between 2 creatures (and the only time it didn't, it's a 118 vs119. Not a large difference ). The distance can affects the density as a ranger explained.
I know there's a "built in variable" as you say. It's called the base_amount on the formula, and I don't intend tofind it for each creatureThe creature's level is also in this formula (that i took on this Ranger forum).

That's what i want. It'll never tell you what exact amount you'll drop when. The density is impossible to guess for exemple. But we can hope to compare harvestswith different levels of creature harvesting, verglash and droids.
And yeah, I have harvested a couple of animals so I do know what I am talking about. Oh, and you really want to have fun, harvest during a shift, your numbers are all over the board.

Wow I must be harvesting the wrong creatures then, because every SlinkingVoritor Hunter I harvest has exactly the same number of resources everytime I bring one down, be it on different lairs, different regions, or different days. What are you hunting that's so variable?
