Ok so tonight my guild did its bimonthly City Hunt to pay for our fine little village. And we hit mokks and jantas repeatedly. And so far some of the odder things looted were
Dant avian meat
Dant Insect meat
Dant Domesticated meat
I will be placing these on display in our cities museum. If you dont know why this is rare thats ok.

So, are the stats good enough to keep hunting Janta and Mokk for the stuff?

From what i was told actually yeah. They were also dropping grains as well. But doesnt it seem i dont know... odd that this is happening?

must be the new hide graphics. the devs fix one thing, they break another.

No different than getting horn from a loot container. I'm pretty sure that the creature resources that don't have creatures associated with them still have shifts and such. It explains lots of things:
- People asking for creature resources that don't drop off creatures after finding the stats from someone.
- Loot containers dropping things like horn (and mollusk and milk before they added harvesting methods).
- Lokian Domesticated Meat needed for Lokian Camo (a long time ago--they changed it).
- Horn needed for the Wookiee armor
- etc.
People who are not regular harvesters wouldn't know any better (even some regular harvesters don't know better). Just like people who don't hunt NPCs that often might not realize that NPCs like to drop [non existent] resources (remember the milking Nightsisters thread?).
