Thread: Whats in your wallet, and how did you get it?

Okay, how many credits do you have (on your ranger character preferably) and what did you do to get up there. I've been thinking of how much money rangers could make selling milk, eggs, and doing the hero of tatooine quest for people, and i wanna see if i'm right that most rangers are rich :-p.

and I got them by hunting (go figure)Actually, I've recieved so much by trading and bartering that I will probably never have to purchase armor, food, stims or clothes. I'm a TKM and usually use my claws for fighting so there 'ya have it.

I have ~400k that I have left over from a loot selling venture that I had (a bunch of medium level stuff that added up to millions, but let's not talk anout my fiasco with the Dancing Mind Enhancement clothes 
). Any money I make comes from Mission, Loot Sales, and Donations.

Just broke 20 mil. And have a mil worth of meat to sell sitting in my pack.
I sell meat if and only if (IFF to you logic types) I get at least 50cpu for it. That's herbie. Avian is 100. I sold a lot of meat. Prolly10 mil worth over the time.
I also run missions, a lot of missions, mainly to hunt said meats. Or to get hides. Or to grind XP. Or to help others grind xp. Or for fun. At least 15 mil worth.
Let us not forget I played Spaceman Spiff for a while. Good money there, if you know how to make it. Prolly about 2 mil.
Oh yeah, loot. I find lots of stuff. And after the guildies get a shot at it, I sell it. Another 5 mil all told.
Not to forget my harvestors - wind and mineral. Prolly raked in an easy 4 mil there.
No, it didn't add up. I spend money on pistols, houses, the guild maintenance, droids, lend money, clothes, meds, stuff --- but I have been in a 12 step program for that.Or is it gimme 3 steps towards the door,I neverknow or care.
And I intend to break 25 mil in the bank by Sunday, as avian is going for 250 cpu, 999 oq, rest of stats are over 800. Ha, life is good.

I now have 40k thanks to some JTL leveling. 
Edit: I have never seen much of a market for milk and eggs - it takes a very long time to collect in my opinion. I got about 1k eggs once driving my speeder around for an hour or so raiding nests... but no one wanted them lol. I also got very tired of looking at a Cu Pa's rear while collecting an equal amount of tat wild milk. If I had a guildie who needed it I would collect milk and eggs... but otherwise, no way. Same for the hero quests due to sheer frustration of looking for three days, only to have my husband say it spawned right next to him as soon as I logged out. If you have the patience these are no doubt an untapped market... but not for me.
I will hunt good spawns - but most likely will give the meat/hide etc away to guildies who need it. The low quality stuff I pick up I stock away in my resource shack for guildies to take what they need. So mostly I make money from missions.

I'm poor no money now, had to run out the house because of work but i did dump some avian meat and hides (as well as armour parts) on serveral vendors so I should hopefuly have some pennies(a mil or 2) when i get home. JB u put anything in you MP craft yet or still trying to figure out the guns

I haven't kept track, but I'd say, roughly, I've made half my money off of high-end contracts and half off of mining. By high-end contracts I mean 75-200 cpu items. I'm spoiled enough by it that I rarely bother to take contracts for less than 75 cpu, almost never less than 50 cpu, unless it's something that will come in really big bulk real fast (Dath leathery/carnivore, for example). (I also don't have that much time to hunt, so that weighs in. Guildmates, I hunt for for free.)
I'll probably shift that when the combat revamp comes, and go more for what I can solo as opposed to how much it brings. (Great. Combat revamp, no more solo professions probably, and what'll you bet we retain our 40% harvestinghit for grouping?)
