Ive done some research on the boards and i havent seen this adressed yet. if it has, oops, sorry and please guide me to the right place.
however.
I noticed that theyve taken the names of the characters off of area track.
instead of JimJam Hassempepper (A Gungan)
its now just (A Gungan)
this is causing problems with named characters, with the name omitted, they no longer show up on tracking because the name is automatically omitted.
On the Etyyy trail, i was looking for Manfried... and since he only has a name, (that was being omitted) i could do /target manfried and get him targeted.. however, if i area tracked, he was not on the list.
Is this a known bug? I bugged it last night, but i think it was an intentional change that has unintentional effects.

I had some problems looking for names on the Etyyy Trail too. I would get "a Rodian Hunter (Sordaan's clan)" and the like. Try searching for animals instead of people. I searched for animals and lo and behold, named characters started popping up on that /areatrack. It didn't make any sense to me at all, but since it worked to find named characters, I'm not going to complain.
I haven't tried this off of Kashyyyk yet, by the way so I'm not sure what happens to /areatrack once you leave the planet.

Yeah, a lot of NPCs are showing up as animals. I first noticed this back in the JTL beta but it doesn't seem to be an extremely high priority fix. Although it might be worth pointing out (again) to the Devs while they have people going over all the planets and such.

There is also an issue with NPCs actually having no name. For example a previously named storm trooper will just show up as (a stormtrooper). Corrs have noted that this seems to happen a lot to trainers and junk dealers. I added your post to the thread about it on the Corr forum Draknev.
