awesome I was told it would be 60 max lol anyone know BH/Ranger?

Be careful though, while the combination of (any?) two combat elite profs will give you a CL80 you will NOT get teh same offence and defence bonuses from say MR/MBH and MR/MRM.
You could end up setting yourself up to take a hiding from critters and other players of exactly the same CL as you because you didn't pay attention to the way the professions modify your offence accuracy and your defences against both ranged and melee attacks.

Yeah, what ken said.. 
You can reach your cap of 80 in different ways, but some variations are more effective than others (defense, speed, accuracy, etc..).
Any profession that contributes to CL will give you 54 when you master it. If you master in two of those professions, you'll reach the max level of 80.
So, master Ranger alone will give you 54.. adding any elite combat profession with it will give you 80.
