I've recently started back on my FS quests after i became triple master Ranger/Pistoleer/Scout and a little CH before CU/respec.

Since respecing i had to drop CH as i was negative xp points so i thought ok no more pets, ill survive!

Now doing my FS quests and really getting into again i started to use up those XP points i had spare, like 4 or something and now i go to train 2 new boxes yesterday and i can't as i have no skill points left.

So i did some thinking and thought well, maybe i drop 2 trees of Ranger to give me enough skill points to do all my FS boxes......however i hesitated and kept my Master Ranger.

I then proceeded to go adventuring in Kashyyyk and met-up with a few nice folk and had a blast doing the Rryaat Trail quests, harvesting an absolute stack of hide etc, throwing traps, setting camps and getting lost (in the canopy level hehehe terrible ranger i was)

I am sooooo glad i kept my Master Ranger and will continue to do so until they fix us so we don't need Master Scout and i can use those XP points elsewhere.

Until then see you in the wilderness somewhere!

I know what you went through. I too have been and continue to be tempted by the dark side (jedi ). Ever since using my extra 4 skill points on ranged speed I think, "boy it would be nice to get the ranged accuracybranch also". I've decided to unlock the 5 other branches and max out the needed xp to train them and wait to do any training until then. I figure that will give me time to see if any progress will be made to our profession or I should drop master and 6 boxes of ranger.

I used up my 4 boxes a while ago, and now I'm just looking to see what the cap on FS exp is. I'm sitting on 2 million Senses exp, and like 1.4 mil in combat exp.

I too am feeling the pull of Jedi... but I'm only doing the Luck tree for now.

I have about 8 or 9 trees unlocked, I'm just not grinding to fill them.

I play as I usually do and convert XP when I feel like it. I, too, am curious to see what they are going to do about our skillpoint situation.

Yeah, I should be jedi in about 4 weeksish. I had to drop Ranger and most of Scout so I could unlock the persuasion line(Master medic/BE0004) and now I find that I will start jedi as a Master Rifleman/Master Pistoleer(if I can get off my but and start grinding)and scout 4040.

It was honestly depressing to drop it and know Kai will never return there. Even placed my old Ranger Spec Ops jacket on my yacht. But, knowing his little brother(yet unnamed)will begin to wander about the wilderness soon after Kai begins his journey towards enlightenment by slaughtering millions of creatures... lol

I have no interest in jedi but I did drop all my Ranger skills and have abandoned the profession.

I am not happy at all about it but I have played since the first day. Yes, I actually got on for 30 minutes that insane day. lol

I truely loved being a Ranger and the concpet behind it. The hunter, wilderness style Ranger not the Army, Antarian Ranger some wanted it it to be.

Well sadly neither have come to pass and Ranger never has been fixed. The devs are too busy working on jedis and much need cu and evidently could not spend any time on us. I think I have been patient enough but I just could not go on in a profession that is basically untapped and ignored.

So my ex Ranger is now spending his time in space and still hoping for a future as a Ranger if they ever decide it is important enough to do so.

My praise to those who continue to hang in there.
