I just respeced from Master CH & Rifleman to Master Ranger & Rifleman.

So far i seem to totally suck, but i am assuming it's because i just havent learnt the subtalties of Ranger yet.

Before my respec runs out (very very soon) Is Rifleman the best choice to couple with Ranger?

It seems Conceal shot kinda sucks now, i only get of about 2 before i am discovered, so I was tempted to dump rifleman for something else like go Carbine.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

This always comes up. And everyone talks about Rifles.

Truth be told, because Ranger has very little in the way of Accuracy/Speed/Def mods it's really all about what the combat profession will give you.I'm of the firm belief that any combat profession goes well with Ranger (although Rifles is the"easiest" to RP with).I would assume the reason you're having problems is that you're used to having a Pet tank for you.

It's just about rethinking tactics and maybe being more cautious. Perhaps a Tank profession would more suited to your playstyle.

Just my thoughts.

MBH/Master Ranger/SL0300 is the best for both pve and pvp. SL 0300 adds a ton of defense.

Thanks for the tips mate, I just figured it out!

I was trying to hunt with Conceal shot, and it seems utterly useless!

However I did find that if I run up throw a dart do a knee shot and run back 50 meeters I could blast away and solo pretty well.

And yes, hehe i was not use to taking a beating myself... I was starting to panic when they were thumpin on me... of course i have no healing... but i guess now with CU we can all use nice stim packs?

Forgoe the little mods you get with a ranged profession... Just go with MCH, MR, and find a powerful rifle to stay as far away as possible! CH & R go hand in hand...

this is giving me so much info as i just reached novice rifleman the other day and im thinking about going ranger to

Sadly though I have 2 BH on other servers =D I am really trying to avoid a 3rd ;-)

i have found that pistoleer for me is one of the best to go hand in hand with ranger. if you need a hand let me know i am on flurry. fith reep maldred leee

Well you got a go start be choosing Ranger...Now any class you pick to go with it will work...You should think about what style you want to use in combat...All combat prof. have proven to compliment Ranger...Just remember...you are a Ranger first and foremost

I would say just get master scout and go master elite range and MBH. Master scout is just as good as master ranger.

O dear lord I hope not! I just decided on final respec to stick with Rifleman/Ranger
