It has taken a drastic turn since our bonuses were applied. I'm glad I was able to make enough creds before this happened to live off of for the next 3 years or so.

Well, Eclipse just had a 30cpu spawn of Naboo Carnivore meat.

As for Naboo Bristley, you should be able to get more than 5cpu for that. I think it's a required resource for one of the 3 armor types (specifically Naboo Bristley Hide).

Nabooian Bristley goes into advanced battlearmor cores, I'd expect something closer to a minumum of 15cpu for the quality of it. 30 cpu for carnivore meat? Nice. That's not even a specific requirement for anything is it?

With the quite high amounts that you now can harvest for most ressources *if* missions are avail on the targets it's no wonder prices fell, when I can harvest some 250 (rough figure) per kill with just novice scout left of about 80-90% of all avail ressource I am not overly surprised that prices dropped :-P.

The harvest bonus stuff has nothing to do with it, level 80 missions on formerly lowend creatures are the reason.

And the example naboo bristley is specifically interesting, I harvested naboo bristley for a while days for my guild's armorsmith short after the curb went live, I don't think I havent seen any level 80 creature that was such a pushover as the level 80 tusk cats spawned from missions, I should pull one more I think to examine some more stuff (hitpoints, combatspam etc) to figure out what exactly makes those level 80's so weak.

(My guilds armorsmith btw offered 30 cpu on that bristley and had to stop the "public contract" after two days or so as he already had about 6x the amount offered to his vendor than he initially wanted to get, you can be quite sure he'll not offer 30 cpu on Naboo Bristley again any time soon )

5 cpu however is extremly low (but of course depends on your server), I'd guess 15 cpu for Naboo Bristley is about "right" for the economy of the server I play on.

Well, our guild does regular hunting with full groups, you can pull up to more than 100K creatures resources per hour/person that way, that's 800K to 1m creatures resources for a full group per hour. So yes, prices have dropped and will drop even more as more guilds/ranger will go on organised hunts.

Just out of curiosity, what is milk used for nowadays?

Also about pricing, someone thought they'd be doing me a favor by offering me a hunting contract for naboo bristley at 2 cpu...

I still dont hunt for less than 20cpu. When potential customers try and tell me I can get more off creatures now I do agree, but then point out it takes me longer to actually kill them now.

The current harvest rates are simply out of what - at least on Naritus. NOBODY is buying. All the crafters have an alt who, with scout xx4x, can harvest enough of any given resource in no time. The market is flooded. A good spawn pops up and within a few hours somebody is on the forums offering up 1mil resrouces. By the time the spawn is dead, there's enough of that shift to last a clan of crafters a lifetime.

I recently stopped hunting for profit and it looks like I did that just in time. The RIN on naritus is full of people asking "Do you know anyone buying?". "Not me, I guess I'll just hang onto the 400k of this resource". "Ya, I've got 900k myself and that was only after 2 days of hunting".

I know that this is good for crafters, but in all honesty, harvesting resources is the only thing Rangers have going for them right now (other than 1 trap) and even this is now becoming useless.

I haven't had a contract since the CU. I got no tells no nothing. I have some money left but I fear that I have to go into the spaceloot business or have to do missions for money. Every crafter in a guild seems to have ressources until the last day........the amount you can get while hunting in a group is awsome.

Yeah it seems a bit excessive. Don't need ranger for harvesting that's for sure.
