I am now a 1/1/2/1/ ranger. However I do not notice a diference in the amount of Meats etc I can harvest.. IS the bonus to harvest skill suppose to increase the amount you can harvest from a creature? Or the quality? Or am I just not noticing? Also if there is a small increase, is it worth it over master scout?

The increase is a percentage of thebase amount available on the creature...

• So you will probably noticea greater increase when harvesting fromlarger creatures rather than small ones.

We do agree that the change is rather paltry, and have several requests in the State of the Profession to improve that situation.

So just to be crystal clear, your saying that if I harvest a bantha worth 10 units, at master scout I get 5 units, and at 0/0/2/0 ranger i get 7 units? and master ranger I would get all 10?

That is mostlycorrect, except thatthe Bantha would be worth 5 units.

Now if a player had a further harvesting bonus (from Racial modifiers or Clothing)...

• They would receive even more harvest than an unmodified Master Ranger.

The difference in harvesting amounts is hard to tell as you progress. I can tell you though that from master scout to master ranger, there is a big difference. And NRaas is right, you can tell a bigger difference on the larger creatures. When I had the 3rd level of that skill, I was pulling about 180 units from some large creatures, and the master raners were pulling about 200.
