around 8 minutes seems to be the sweet spot for renewing your camp. At least, that's what others have told me. And while your sitting there, get three crafting tools going and make your best camps in practice mode. You get camping exp every time you craft a camping kit.

Actually, if you're macroing your camping xp you'll get about 1100 camp xp with the field base camps, and down. If you're the only one in the camp, with no damage or wounds to heal, it will take about 20-25 minutes for the camp to reach its max xp.

forget about camping and make yourself a good macro to craft camps. I have 6 crafting tools and I sit next to the ranger trainer clicking away. You will need a lot of bone and hide though. Whatever you do, don't try the camp while fighting rancors trick. People are starting to annoy everyone by throwing down camps on the group while fighting. I keep getting stuck on tents, chairs, etc. which usually leads to incap or death.

Drop camp while fighting rancors trick? Never heared that before. What is the idea there??Please explain.

I think what it is, is that....if you are fighting some hard creature and you drop it down in the middle of fighting....well people are gonna be healing...and you gte alot of camp xp if people are healing in your camp....I think that is the trick, but I am not sure. If it is not...then it is a suggestion I guess

Dropping camp in the middle of a firefight?

Means that maybe you will make you some XP if a friend is retarded enough to stay in a camp and heal while trying to fight. Given that the healing rate is fairly slow (atleast 2mins for the first heal to kick in) this is not a bright idea.

And, if the person who dropped the camp is fighting, the camp is useless anyhow, no XP at all. Camp's there, fire is out, and no xp at all. Plus, there is the lair factor. You can't make camp near a lair. So you are gonna run off at least out of lair range to make camp?

Fastest way to max camping - GROUP, go hunting, camp with that group. You can max a camp in 8 minutes, if you do not have a bunch of lumps on a log with ya. As long as everyone is doing something, you max fast. Oh yeah, you are hunting, so you get resources to make more camps while camping, and that's scout xp. And weapons xp. And combat xp. And medic xp for the medics. And xp for the dancer/musician (no BF heal, but the other kind). And you can heal pets for the next lair. A win/win for everyone.
