Some people. Perhaps you should have offered the guy some credits to go buy a clue.

Wow, way nicer than I am,

I tell BHs where to go, how to get there, and what do do once they arrive.

Thator ask for 25k up front, before I run /ar, and I tell em, no guarantee on results.

One or the other shuts em up and they go away.

Today on Starsider I had the following conversation...(its not verbatim, kinda close but not exact)

Them: Are you a loyal subject of the Empire?

Me: (lying through teeth) I'm just a hunter. I leave the Empire alone, it leaves me alone.

Them: How would you like to work for me for a day?

Me: Perhaps. What are you hunting?

Them: Two-legged game, of a sort.

Me: Well, I'm used to hunting animals but my rifle works both ways. Who?

Them: The most elusive of game...

Me: (catching on) Sounds like those fairy tales about the sorcerors of the old Republic come back to haunt us all.

Them: You are a wise hunter...

Me: I'm not skilled enough yet, although I'm close, so I have to respectfully decline at this time.

Them: Very well, perhaps another time.

Me: Perhaps, though I will raise a glass of ale to your hunt (with my best wishes going to your prey).

It appears that, until the BH droids are fixed to allow tracking of PC Jedi, Hunt Masters are the only ones capable of tracking this "most elusive of prey".

That was a decent RP Grey..heh. Know the feeling.. Always some random guy eventually saying, "Can you see if a Jedi is nearby?" I just give it a quick track and tell them "no"..

People really expect a lot from our pesky range.

Did happen to enjoy trying to track a Novice Ranger down while overt, didn't quite work, but had a blast trying to follow him.. heh. Perhaps our tracking will excel in time..

I still say the funnest part of /ar is when you know there is going to be a raid on your base/town/whatever.

I go out and start doing areatrack. More likely than not, I find the soon-to-be raiders. I mean, how hard is it to miss 5-10 people in close proximity to one another. They are in some slum camp some BH has set up, getting pets out, putting away rides, buffing, healing, etc. After sending the info to the rest of my party, I then send a "Peek a boo, I see you" message to all the happy lil raiders.

In the beginning, they would panic -- and often run right into the ambushes we have set up. Now they panic, and usually realize that we are setting ambushes and beat feet for safer areas.

Or, I ride right into their camp and listen to them scheme, all the while in guildchat with my team. Oh, big time stealth there, but when you are fighting morons, you don't need to be sneaky, just bold.
