It took me just under a week from novice scout -> master ranger. Gather all the hide/bone/metal you need (45k hide, 25k bone, 10k metal) while doing wayfaring and tracking... then build high qual camps, then move to field bases for wayfaring..... then just get buffed, armored, and build 60 or so wire mesh traps and trap piket protectors, rancors, etc.

Just under a week from Novice Scout to Master Ranger?!?!? Man, do you sleep? Have a job? School? Wow.....

If you are grinding, just get enough resources, make camps and move on out.

If you plan on staying, don't freaking worry how long it will take. There is nothing worse than a fast track Ranger. Spend some time wandering the planets. Learn about the critters, what drops what meat/hide/bone. It's not the destination, it's the journey. Become an expert on your home planet. I can tell you about my home planet, good and bad hunting spots, the best critters for xp, for harvesting, for solo, for groups, and that is how it should be. Mess with all the traps, on all the critters, and see the results. Know what weapons will and won't work on what critters. Become an expert.

Nothing makes me madder than reading a "I did it in three days" post. Wow, and you know how to craft camps, BFD.

Of course, if you are a holo-grinder, go craft camps, takes 3 days, don't sleep, or eat, or pooh, or have a real life. Then drop this like a hot potato and move along.

Well, when you're a Teras Kasi Master, there's not much you cant solo... so i just slaughtered a ton of piket protectors (600 scout xp each) for scaley hide.... then went on to dathomir and killed lots of bull rancors, rancors, and gnarnled rancors for bone.... then just went and trapped a piket protector for 20 - 30 minutes to do trapping xp.... it's really not too hard *shrug*

Oh yeah, i did this profession on my own free will... and plan on keeping it...... not hologrindin

Camp while crafting traps and go on big hunts and drop camps. The more people in your camp, the more activity, the better. Have docs heal in your camp.
