Well hehe im a novice ranger and i love it... but its the other profs that go with ranger well that im not sure of
I heard Riffleman works very well with Ranger espeacily if your in a group
I have also heard That swordsmen is a very good complimentary prof for a ranger
But what i also thought that master ranger and master ch would be very cool and wonderd if it worked well
Can anyone clear up these rumours or suggest good profs i should look into
I know theres a million of these posts on the board somewhere but id really apreciate it if you experianced rangers could help me.

The camo/prone/headshot/single-pullCombo with rifles is my favourite ranger ability by far.
I hardly ever pull agro on things i am hunting these days.
Makes it so you can hit single creatures without them being social and almost never get attacked from your target because you have like 20+ headshots tp play with before the target notices you

If you do want to go Master CH, then I would use your remaining skill points on a complimentary weapon skill. Pistoller 0/0/3/0 would be good. You damage the health pool, the same as your pets and pistols are flexible anough to allow you to fight close up or stand back, let your pet tank and you assist.
I was planning to go this routeafter reading a post from a Master Ranger with this profile.
Then I discovered BE pets
hence the profile I have now.

I prefer rifles as they are extremely (over) powerful right now.I can drop things very quickly (at master). Pistoleer was nice for the many damage types, but this is generally more useful when going against NPCs. TKA was great as you could harvest resources as soon as the critter died. BH LLC was pretty nice and dealt pretty good damage, but you only have one damage type. I never tried the BH pistol line, so I can't say how using the LLC in conjunction with pistols would have been. Those are all of the combat profs I have tried; other Rangers can help you out with the other professions...

Dancer..
blind them with sequins
or...
Swordsman, good dmg, good defenses... great solo ability and a very nicely balanced profession.
do not go pikeman unless you have a "thing" for underdog professions. personally i love pikeman... but im really strange.

I never knew swordsman was so good, I just took it because I love battleaxes. Once I got the Gamorrean axe I dumped rifleman lol. But I'm also strange. Swordsman has some exotic weapons that's another thing I like.

So.....no one else here couples it with medic? I find it pretty useful, especially when grouping. I've gone up marksman, so i'm using ranged combat, and some pet that I've had since day one (morphed twice). It's not that bad solo, really.

Always liked swordsman myself, wish I could master both that and rifleman and ranger... sadly, not gonna happen...

Sort of nerfed that combo now, with the STOOOOOOPID weapon delays...
