Hello Rangers

I have a question for you experienced rangers conserning tracking.

Me (a swordsman) and a rifleman friend is often involved in some big game hunting, but we have a problem. We can spend entire buffs swooping around looking for the Elder/krayt or what ever it is we are after for the moment. Its very anoying. So we talked about me geting some ranger.

The question for you is this. What is the benefits of having tracking 4 compared to tracking 3, can i still find krayts/elders with tracking3? how much "tracking range" do i get from having tracking 4 compared to 3.

The reason i ask is because if i got tracking 3 i could get master bralwer to, what do you think, would it be wort the skillpoints of tracking4?

Would be very glad if some of you sesoned rangers could help me out with this

For tracking non players you can stop at Tracking III without any problems. The difference in range isnt that big if any. Just remember that when your tracking you want to stop wait 10 seconds then track to give the spawns a chance to come in.

Hmmmm, very good question !!!

Okay, from what I understand gaining "Tracking IV" won't increase your search radius... So, if you really want to Master Brawler, I would advice you to stay at "Tracking III".

Back to your problem.... a lot of players seem to have issues with Tracking animals and people. The reason for that is that players don't take the time to allow your search radius to propely "update", or "catch up".

When you are tracking, stop, dismount.... WAIT for 10 to 15 seconds and then /areatrack (This is to let the game re-fresh your location). I am confident you will be more successful finding your targets
