Man I just spent hours reading the GREAT EXPECTATIONS threads from TH and I must say CALC your lucky, we are nice compared to them!!! I mean I am grumpy and sarcastic sometimes but those people WOW. You sware someone just smacked thier MOM! I do understand the anger of JTL being put before CB, I am even worried JTL issues will matter more than current ones after its release. If thats the case I will probably quit the game.
Really dont buy JTL until they fix current issues! But if you feel the need to waste 2 hours of your life read all those threads...it is discouraged knowing the amount of disfunction in the SWG family.
My .02 is what if SOE said we are done its final....I wouldnt play anymore!! Not for 15 bucks a month.

Yes it gets ugly out there. I was on my server's forum just to check it out b/c nobody had posted recently here last night and wow, it was bad. Jedi: bad. PvP: bad. JTL: bad. CB: bad. DEV's: bad SWG: bad. BH's: you guessed it, bad. Disagreeing without flames: bad. Camping: bad.
That was the general idea I got while I was there last night. Oh, forgot. GCW: bad. This place may be the last safe haven of rationality on the forums. At least the arguments are a good show if you're into that kinda thing.

Its not JTL that worries me, i know its a very large part of how i see SWG and i wouldnt pass it off for the world. However what does worry me is that the devs spend many many months DEDICATED to JEDI!!! They give them an absolute complete revamp that will most likely never be seen again to any profession and their reason for this is that jedi effect alot of people.
I dont know about anyone else but for the current times we play in jedi are a minority (?) profession, all the other professions in the game have taken a back seat to jedi and this is completely out of order. They should of fixed all the other non-jedi professions and gave them their revamp before embarking on the jedi revamp.
Sometimes i wish there was no way to become jedi in this game, or infact only 4/5 carefully hand picked players (not powergamers just good decent players) could be 'given' the choice to go for jedi.

Perhaps someday, like when people start leaving and servers get consolidated (i.e. eclipse + Wanderhome = New server) we can ask for this to happen, for a server to be made that we could transfer free of charge to that had no jedi or the devs only picked a couple of people to be the jedi on that server.
We are many years off yet but its a hope atleast.

eclipse+ Wanderhome = Phe'nix Antarus on the same server as Phen'ix Antarus. Can a server really handle two of me?

Don'r forget that there is already a Phe'nix on WH...if the server merged, you two couldn't occupy the same space, and you both would implode. Then we would only be stuck with...I mean blessed with 1 phen'ix....

Pffff.. with my new computer I have +355 defense against implosion. My computer would kick that Phe'nix's butt. Then Phe'nix could meet Phen'ix....and all the known alchohol would implode...into their livers.
