Hiya,
As an armorsmith I need a lot of creature organics. What I was wondering is if there is a list ranking how easy the different hides are to get on different planets, so I have some way of knowing how hard my requests are to fill.
I know for example that Dathomir Leather is the easiest leather to get, and that Corellian Wooly is the most painful wooly. But what about the other planets and hides?
Any help would be appreciated.

I would say
Leather:
Good: Dath, Endor, Yavin (1,2,3)
Bad:Rori
Wooly:
Good: Endor, Tat, Rori
Bad: Lok, Corellia
Scaley:
Good: Tat, Yavin, Endor
Bad: Naboo, Rori

Wooly hide
1-Endor (Gurrecks and Mantrigues)
2-Dantooine (Huurtons and Thunes)
3-Yavin (Woolamanders and Mamiens)
4-Rori (Ravenous Tortons, Gualamalas)
5-Naboo (Peko Pekos, Gualamalas)
6-Tatooine (Banthas)
7-Corellia (Durni's, Paralopes)
8-Lok (Langlatch)
9-Talus (Paralopes)
10-Dathomir (no creature with wooly)
The reasonI put Lok lower than Corellia is I can't get missions for Langlatches and they are rare in the wild at times. Naboo and Tatooine are about equal. Ravenous Torton can be accessed via missions, Mamiens are a very common spawn. Naboo can be easy if you find an Albatross spawn. Huurton, Thunes, Gurrecks and Mantrigues drop large quantities and missions are common. Paralopes on Talus are very uncommon, you can get mission but must be ungrouped with a weapon you have nearly no skills in.

8- Talus
9- Tatooine
10- Rori
Leathery on all planets is much easier than Wooly.

Another rule of thumb is that the higher the CL of the creature, the more resources it gives. Therefore, the tougher planetes will generally be easier to collect large quantities of animal resources on. This is assuming the collector'sskills allows themto hunt on the advanced planets.

It is generally accepted that a dinosour evolved into the mondern bird. I still can't explane wooly out of a turtle.

Lok is great for leathery hide. Especially if you have an AT-ST. At master ranger, I was getting roughly 120 units per fat gurk(with an AT-ST, you get about 15 gurks per lair, 9 per without...and higher level lairs also have a chance to spawn destroyers and kings, similar to wild lairs)
You can take missions for gurks, perleks and mynocks, but there are also snorbals, kusaks and kimogilas(normal/giant/dune/enraged dune/giant dune/hatchlings)
Without veghash on a fat and healthy giant kimo, I was getting 1200 units of hide during Lowcas recent shift.

Paralopes on Talus are uncommon?
Tell that to the 100 or so that camp on my freaking doorstep. You have got to be in the wrong spot looking for them. Them and fynocks are like rats.

I also think y'all are forgetting one thing -
While it is easy to get leather on Dath, merely being on Dath is a pain. Same with Yavin. What creatures aren't aggro? My prices go up 10% just for having to go there.
Endorian wooley is by far the easiest. Missions for gurrecks. 6k payout, 100 hide per kill. I had about 15k of it and 16k of Talus leather (torturs, also another easy kill and harvest) til last week.
Poop on armorsmiths, they want stats. Tailors want stacks. And you get free clothes. Armor is for sissies.
