All my harvesting macro's no longer work. They are just simple ones like the below:
/harvest hide;
Has anyone else had this problem? I cannot harvest from the cmdline either (typing in /harvest hide while targeting a corpse) and the only way to get harvested goods is through the radial menu :-(.
BTW...I put in a CSR ticket about and and got a canned response that CSR's cannot help at all with macro's and then they closed the ticket. I hate SOE's support...they didn't even read my problem.

It is not your macro, there is a bug that prevents you from harvesting at all sometimes

I had the same problem with my macros last week. However, the next time I logged on they worked fine.

They work, it's an on/off problem. I had none working this afternoon, moved a bit and they came back on. Even worked on creatures I tried to harvest before.
Oh, if you "harvest" an NPC by accident, your macro totally gets gacked up.

I ended up having to create a new profile in the SWG directory. Something was wrong with it. After recreating it I copied my macros.txt over to it and all is well.

also make sure you're not standing by a house called 'hide out' or 'meat factory' or 'bone something.' If you're standing next to a structure names hide something, meat something, or bone something, your harvest macro will target the structure instead of the resource on the critter. I know this sounds strange, but it's happened to me before.

Ain't that the truth! That's why my resource containers are named Ide-hay, One-Bay, and Eat-may

Mine work 99.9% of the time. Just make sure you are in harvesting range (which is less than loot range) and that the resource you are trying to harvest exsists on the corpse (not all creatures have meat, bone and hide).
I combine loot all in my harvest macro's and use a harvest macro to loot NPC's as well. No real need for a seperate macro. The game knows the Moisture Thieves are spineless bums.
I do it like this:
Create 3 seperate macro's
Meat
/harvest meat;
/loot
Hide
/harvest hide;
/loot
Bone
/harvest bone;
/loot
Then...hit keymap and map each macro to a seperate key.
Kill 'em, wait for non-combat mode, target, hit your key for the desired resource.

Probably related to why /tellpet sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

You don't have to use something to stop the macro after it's run?
