The revamp says recon armor is going to be used, instead of battle which it was, this may have been changed back to battle , can't find the link if it was, but master rangers have a mandalorian armor cert, at least according to the armor, I don't think they would be able to put on the mandalorian armor(assault), and at the very least a master ranger wouldnt have any mitigation when wearing it, is this working as intended?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

You are correct.

They just didn't read the FAQ.

I don't think it's working as intended, but I haven't tested it. Mostly I just doubt we'll ever know, since it's rather impossible for a Ranger to survive the DWB, heh, but maybe if they could afford it, we could test it out.

Even IF ranger could madalarion Armor why would you. All our armor certs are in battle Armor. So you IF you could wear the Mando Assault armor you would have penalities for Movement, Accuracy and Speed.

The Cert was going to be changed from battle to recon but has since been changed back to no change at all. So battle is wear we are staying. As of last post by Tiggs.

I read the faq, the original faq still says recon, if you read my original post I said I thought it was changed back to battle but couldnt find the info to be sure. What I want to know is if a master ranger has tried wearing the mandalorian armor, because the armor says master rangers can wear it. If they can'tthe text on the armorshould be changed, some people may be master ranger and get ahold of the armor only to find that they can't wear it because of no cert or they won't have any mitigation

As has been confirmed by others before me, we will be retaining the Battle Armor cert (but that is, I am sure, still subject to change). Also, we lost the Mandalorian Armor Cert with the CU. It is now an Assault Armor.

No offense but...why would you be worried about mando armor? Chances of getting it....wow....

Only people I know that have anything mando/jetpackrelated are Jedi who can solo

While its very hard to get, I do own 3 peices, Helm, Chest and Pants, so its not impossible, I guess the text on the armor needs to be changed to remvoe the ranger cert then

sadly this is correct, the only way you'll be able to wear it is if you take up a profession with assault mitigation, BH/SL or commando after the revamp since that is one that isn't currentlypossible

a master merchant can get mando. he wanted to know IF he got it COULD he wear it. and btw nobody soloes DWB.
