Guys, I have been trying to compile a list for these "creature loot drops" but I am running into a wall.

I hear Krayt dragons drop armor plates that have high value on the market... Can anyone confirm? What are they used for?

I also hear that Voritor lizards on Dantooine drop armor plates... killed about 15 with no success there... Anyone have luck here?

Anyone who has looted a creature for some component please post it here!

Yes, on a recent trip to dantooine, and there was an armor piece(the bone armor segment enhancement, optional piece in the bone armor segment). Other than this, I haven't seen anything on creatures. But this was also not harvesting, it was loot, so remember to loot your critters as well as harvest.

Fambaas on Naboo drop segments and full pieces for padded armor.

Creatures drop loot?! When did this start? I guess it's a good thing I saw this thread...

I looted 6 Bone armor segments from Kimogilas on LoK. I gave a few to some Armorsmiths, and they said the bone armor created with them was nothing special.

I can confirm that the Voritor lizards drop loot. Got several ofthe armor segmentstoday.

Okay to recap and start the list of creature loot drops and creature types:

Kimogilas - Lok - Bone Armor Segments
Krayt Dragons - Tattoine - Some kind of very desirable armor scales (Need confirmation)
Fambaas - Naboo - Padded armor segments
Voritor Lizards - Dantooine - Bone Armor
Gorax - Endor - Jedi Skill tapes

Last one was just a joke. Keep it coming boys. Lets try and figure this out... also if the types of loot drops are completely random or if they always drop same type and the level of critter determines the level of the drop.

PS- Remember all, to "Loot" as well as Harvest

probably easiest thing to do is make a macro for

/harvest meat;/loot;/deathblow

Gives me one button to hit no matter what kind of fight I was in.
And you don't have to remember to loot mobs as well. It will be covered.

I have 3, one each for meat, bone, or hide. Good idea to add /deathblow tho.

just in case someone hadn't thought of this yet, create a macro for:
/loot; /harvest meat; /deathblow

pull to hotkeys, viola, ninja looters be dam'ed!
