Does this mean that one person can get the hides and another get the bones? or can both take hides?

everyone in the group that has the skill will be able to harvest. But, everyone will only get 60% of what you would have gotten solo.

Each scout can harvest the resource of their choice. They will receive 40% less (xp & resource) than a solo harvest.

so if i was solo i could harvest 10 hides..

If I was in a group with 5 total scouts they could each get 6 hides (30 total)? where are these mystery hides coming from?

I would think it better to be one person get hides the other get bones the other get meat, etc. but of course that would make sense

will they also get 60% xp?

It's to solve the problem with only one scout being able to harvest. Having 3 resource types still doesn't solve the problem when you have groups of 20. Even if 50% have scout ability, that's 7 people left out. Although I agree that it doesn't make much sense, it's a good compromise to encourage more grouping. I dont know how the exp will be done.

I agree with Busey on this one... 3 scouts/rangers max per craeture (i know some creatures only have 1 or 2 options to harvest). This will aslo encourage you to share.. I was grouping with some poepl a while back and one guy kept sneaking in and kiting th eresources.. myself and one other giuy wanted the XP too, and we had to tell the guy to chill and rotate harvesting rights... I dont want reduced harvest just becasue someone in the group is scout, but not interested in harvesting....
